1.6L Large Soup Maker - 501022, black/red, MORPHY RICHARDS

Beautifully designed piece of kitchen machinery in the form of a soup-making mini-appliance, orange being a fave colour at the moment, myself into product-design and so taking my purchases and accompanying research seriously. It is in my opinion (hence, why I bought it) the best in its price-range across brands and that includes rival options also made by Morphy Richards. It comes with all expected options for produced cuisine. And to make mention, here, there is a very considered weight to this model, i.e. heavy enough to know you have some serious technology in your hands, while light enough to move it around.

The lost star is a matter of safety and convenience and which should equal two lost stars, only a product of this quality cannot be given less than four: The blade, as is the case with all soup-makers, unless you get one which is primarily a food-processor, is attached to the lid and so meaning that you can lift what is a very sharp cutter completely out of the main body of the contraption and which does present an opportunity for accidents to happen; and, if you wish to return your item, for whatever reason and this inclusive of damage upon delivery, you have to hunt down a Yodel drop-off point and which is not always nearby and certainly not always convenient.

I had a Morphy Richard soup maker for years, but it stopped working. Couldn’t do with my soup maker and have just purchased a new one which is more up to date. Just made Mediterranean soup in t. Delicious! Wouldn’t buy any other make.

Never had a soup maker before, all those wasted years i have been standing at my hob cooking soup, blending soup. Thank God for my lovely neighbour recommending such an amazing appliance. Love it, love it, love it, would highly recommend, if there is only appliance you can afford to buy, this is the appliance NO kitchen can do without.

Brilliant website, very easily to use, service was exceptional, delivered within a couple of days. The 1.6l soup maker is brilliant, so easy to use, easy instructions to follow. I made chicken vegetable soup for my very first attempt. I chose the chunky option, omg it was delicious and so, so easy to make. I then chose the clean option once all the soup had been eaten, this too was very easy to use. Would highly recommend this soup maker, after years of me doing it the old fashioned way, cooking the ingredients and then blending the cooked ingredients - thank you Murphy Richards you have now saved me so much time.

Makes great soup...I just need to resolve the problem with the base heating element

I absolutely love this soup maker. So easy to use. Chuck everything in (chopped) and 20 minutes later you have perfect soup. I couldn’t be without it!

We purchased the updated version of the soup maker we have used for several years with great success. The soup just seems so much more healthier than its tinned equivalent... chunky or smooth. A great product with 3 years warranty as we purchased direct.

So glad I purchased this , was a real bonus in winter, quick, easy to use and lovely soup in less than 30 minutes.

Just remember to put the higher moisture veges at the bottom for chunky soups, even though you are adding water, the heating plate gets hot really quickly and dense veges such as corn will char and then safety will kick in and switch off the machine.
