      Worst hoover I've ever had

      I've no idea how this has had any decent reviews, because it's simply terrible. I've only had it a few months, but I'm already on the hunt for something else.

      On carpet the suction is terrible - you have to go over the same patch repeatedly, on full power, just to achieve anything. And even then you're lucky if it does what you need it to.

      On hard floor it's mildly better, but is prone to just pushing dirt around rather than actually picking it up.

      Any sort of grit won't remain suctioned - this will constantly make its way back down the pipe when you stand the hoover up, leaving a pile of dirt wherever you've left it stood.

      It also blocks really easily, leaving you to pull it apart and manually pick out dust and dirt.

      Overall, I definitely wouldn't recommend. Tower are great for some things, but hoovers don't seem to be their strong point.

      This is a fabulous vacuum. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble. It works a treat! My only issue would be that the instruction manual is not entirely clear. It misses a few pieces of information (including the function of a couple of the attachments, and full explanations of how to remove the filter). Luckily the machine stands up to a bit of "trial and error" when it comes to working things out, so no harm done.
