    Airmax 10.5 Tog Duvet, white, SILENTNIGHT

    The Airmax Duvet has been specially constructed with airmesh walls which increase airflow inside the duvet. This special duvet houses a pocket of air between its layers providing extra insulation, softness and it is wonderfully soft touch. All these benefits help to provide more warmth with less weight to help you stay cosy and comfortable without overheating.

    At Silentnight we understand the importance of a good night’s sleep and this starts with choosing the right bedding. Tog ratings are an indication of how warm the duvet will be when you are sleeping underneath it, so the higher the tog rating, the warmer you will be. We always recommend a low tog for warmer summer months 4.5/7.5 tog and a higher tog for winter 13.5/15 tog. If you would prefer to use only one duvet all year round then a 10.5 tog is most suitable. However, for optimum sleep you should keep your body at a comfortable temperature and changing togs during seasons will help you to achieve this.

      Warm and cosy but weighty

      Our super-king-size 4.5tog duck-down duvet was about eight years old and had got as thin as tissue paper. Just about okay for hot summer nights, but insufficient for the cold winter nights. Reluctant to spend a small fortune on a higher-tog duck-down replacement, I thought I'd try the Airmax. Certainly much much warmer...in fact, my husband finds it too warm, although I love the snugness. The only niggle is that it is quite heavy...not a problem over the top half of the body, but it does overhang heavily at the end of the bed, meaning it's a tug of war to pull it up around your neck. Something we'll get used to I hope.

      You wont be disappointed.

      This is my 3rd Airmax quilt, so I guess that speaks volumes! It's so soft and keeps its softness throughout its lifetime. It's warm and cosy without feeling too heavy. I highly recommend this quilt.

      Brilliant duvet

      This is the best duvet ever.

      We have both had really good sleep since using this duvet.

      It’s such a shame there isn’t a lower tog rate as would love to have one for summer.
