    "MatMat is distinguished by its pure, balanced and monolithic form, reminiscent of the modernist aesthetic born in the 20s and 30s and developed throughout the 20th century in art, design and architecture. Its fluid look and almost architectural presence make it both functional and sculptural, in keeping with its heritage. Its colours and material, glazed ceramic, add a contemporary, hand-crafted touch. A balance between minimalism, functionality and playful aesthetics."

      Style over substance

      The top of the table is warped and uneven making it’s function as a table obsolete, nothing like the quality of the other two Matmat tables I have. Shame as they are unusual and very stylish.

      Just as advertised

      I am really pleased with the side tables I bought recently. They are true to the description and easy to order, however Hermes delivered the items separately so had to wait in on 2 occasions which I felt was unnecessary.
