      Rug delivered faulty - falling apart on edges

      I bought a different rug from La Redoute over a year ago and it’s beautiful and of good quality.

      This one arrived faulty. It’s falling apart in several places near the edges. There are bold places where the fabrics just come out. I noticed this immediately after I took the rug out of its package and unrolled it on the floor. I was really disappointed as I assumed the rug would be great, like the previous one was.

      The way this one was rolled in the package was really bad too. Despite it being quite thick it looked all folded like a piece of paper in several places. I emailed La redoute within minutes from when the rug was delivered but since I haven’t heard back for almost a week now, I have just requested a return and a full refund (including the delivery charge).

      Horrible smell not leaving for weeks!

      This rug is smelling like dust and dirt and pesticides. It looks nice (though a bit ruffled up) but it's like sleeping in a chemicals factory. Very bad for health, very bad for you. I want a refund!

      Rug arrived within a few days of ordering, comms from La Redoute about despatch were good.

      Very pleased with the rug - it’s exactly as described and fits the space we bought it for perfectly! Excellent product😀
