    Care Advice
     •  Some materials are very fibrous (such as wool) Wool rugs pill naturally during the first few months: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres . The pilling will improve over time.

      Great thick warm wool quality

      I loved the thickness and the warm wool quality of this carpet. Unfortunately it had many mistakes in the weaving. The thread had been put together in knots clearly visible on the upside. There was also a thread in the light part that was dirty but still woven into the fabric. I have returned this carpet, hopefully I can get another perfect one but it would need to be checked by La R. before sent to me!

      Nice rug but quality poor

      I love the look of this rug but it has multiple plucks on the fabric which is such a shame-I just hope they don’t get bigger.

      Terrible quality with many defects

      My order arrived with dozens of defects in the fabric.The weave had mistakes throughout with raised, knotted areas and incorrectly woven. Mistakes all over the rug. Sounds similar to another reviewer's experience of this rug. No one has checked this rug before being shipped to me. I do not recommend ordering this rug. I called La Redoute for a refund immediately and I will never use them again.

      AVOID RUGS - quality is utterly appalling ......

      Rug arrived several weeks ago - within seconds of unrolling could see that the weave is ridiculously thick in places - looks odd and cheap. Soooo I spent more and ordered a different 3x2m rug - Wool Border range. Last week one arrived and this time THREE separate weaving faults - including high "tufts" and one small area with basiucally no pile.!!! 3rd rug arrived today and yet again as anticipated there is a very poor section of pile.

      I specifically requested that the supplier check over the rug to avoid wasting my time and this has been ignored. So I call to complain on the customer services number and am told I will wait up to 72 hours for "the supplier" to come back with an answer. MY legal contract is with La Redoute NOT the supplier of the rug !!!

      Never again shall I purchase for this crew as the quality is rubbish to date. I am almost £500 out of pocket until I get refunded for the rugs that have been taking up space in my house - some for quite a time.

      Not happy and I will be progressing this to the max.

      Beautiful rug with large tassels

      This is a wonderful, thick rug! It has very large, thick tassels which I wasn't expecting. They look great on wooden floors!
