    Very hard to assemble and mount

    The design of this product is flawed making it very tricky and pernickety to out together. The screws which go through the black long side bracket are far too short making it very difficult to get them into the hole without falling and getting lost inside the hollow bracket. Many times we had to resort to one person tilting the whole unit, the other sticking their finger through a hole to catch the little screw and fish it out with tweezers! Not fun and I would not recommend buying this product!

    What's more is the unit is very, very heavy even for two people, and you have to hold up the entire thing in order to mark the holes for drilling.

    This experience has really put me off ever buying La Redoute products again!

    Great overall

    This was a real effort to assemble because the predrilled holes didn’t all line up properly.

    However it is a very heavy, good quality piece of furniture.
