Presto Pine Storage Bed with Hinged Bed Base, light natural wood, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

I looked across the internet to find a bed that was perfect for me and I can safely say this one is, I am so glad I went ahead and purchased it.

We ordered this for our son's new apartment and he is really happy with it, it was delivered promptly and we didn't have a single problem

To start off, the bed itself is great, it adds a lot to a room visually, and the actual setting up of the bed is easier than you'd think. However, my main complaint is to the instructions given. To start simply, the instructions are plain wrong, giving contradictory steps that don't align with the parts given (example, showing on the paper holes where in real life they don't exist) leading me having to figure out most of the steps on my own. This wouldn't be so bad if the instructions online were correct, however they are completely different to the instructions given to us. This not only makes it confusing to follow, but also instills doubt that this bed can even be possibly put up, due to thinking we were given the wrong parts. I'm not sure how you can fail so badly to write instructions that correspond with what's given, especially when the other 30% of the instructions were correct. It took about 3 hours to complete but could easily be done quicker, if not for the instructions being false and adding confusion. To conclude, the bed is great, given if you know how to set it up. All the parts given were correct and can be set up, however you will have to do the mental gymnastics to figuring out how to set it up. For us it was worth it, but easily understandable if it's too much of a headache.

A good bed frame - was fairly easy to pit tigether , good instructions and looks great.

Had one slight issue but La Redoute resolved quicky.

The bed arrived quickly and is lovely, great quality, looks brilliant, and the built in storage is SO good. The only downsides however would be that the instructions really aren’t very clear, and This was made even more difficult when the supplied screws weren’t actually long enough- luckily I had spares in the correct size but still a shame. Construction took 3-4 hours. Invest in an electric screwdriver as well!
