What is LR Pay?
LR PAY is the credit account available exclusively to La Redoute customers. It allows you to shop flexibly with a range of payment options.
Apply for an LR PAY Account
To apply for an LR Pay Account you can complete an eligibility check without impacting your credit score. We'll tell you what credit limit and interest rate we can offer you. You can then decide if you want to open your account and start shopping.
Check your eligibility-
WHAT IS AN
ELIGIBILITY CHECK?
-
The eligibility check uses the details you provided to carry out a quotation search (also known as a soft search) on your credit file. You'll be able to see the search on your file but other organisations won't see it when they search your file and it won't affect your credit rating.
As a result of the eligibility check, we'll tell you one of the following:
- you can open an LR Pay Account at the advertised rate; or
- you can open an LR Pay Account but the APR will be higher than the advertised APR (details of the APRs we offer are shown below); or
- we've been unable to verify your details during the eligibility check and we'll contact you once you've completed your application; or
- we're not able to accept your application at this point.
Once your LR Pay Account is opened you can see your credit limit and remaining credit available in your monthly statement that we produce for you.
-
-
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

-
If the eligibility check is successful, you'll be presented with pre-contract information about the account and the account terms and conditions. If you decide to proceed and we open an LR Pay Account for you, we'll record a visible search update (also known as a hard search) with the credit reference agencies. Other organisations will then be able to see that information on your credit file.

MANAGING YOUR
CREDIT LIMIT
-
We may consider increasing your credit limit if appropriate. To request a credit limit increase, get in touch with us.
Login to your account at laredoute.co.uk and select the option to request an increase
Call us on 0800 260 5098
Email us at account.management@redoute.co.ukYou should consider carefully whether you are able to afford the repayments on the amount of credit that you want, including whether there are likely to be any changes to your circumstances in future that will affect this. If you need any help working out what your minimum payments would be on a larger balance, you can contact us.
We review your account regularly to check your credit limit is appropriate. We will never increase your credit limit unless you specifically ask us to, but we may decrease your credit limit if we consider you at risk of financial difficulties.
We do not charge for going over your credit limit and you can ask us to decrease or freeze your credit limit at any time.
How do I use LR PAY?
Once your application is successful, we'll add LR Pay to your payment methods so you can use it whenever you checkout online.
You will also have access to service your account through laredoute.co.uk or by downloading our app. We will also send reminders when your payments are due.
Flexible Ways to pay
You don't have to pay at the time you order. Once we've despatched your first order, we'll send you a statement within 2 to 3 weeks. You'll then receive a statement each month. Once your statement is produced, you'll have 21 days to make the payment that you choose.
If you don't make your PAY IN 3 payment or clear your balance interest will be applied: Credit Account example: cash price and amount of credit £1200. Representative 21.9% APR variable. Interest rate 20.0% variable.

PAY IN 3

-
PAY IN 3 is an interest free option. Everything that you buy is split into 3 equal payments and, providing that you pay the amount shown as your PAY IN 3 payment on your statement, you won't pay any interest on those purchases.
You can decide to pay less than the PAY IN 3 at any point. This means that interest will be charged on your remaining outstanding balance. You will still have the PAY IN 3 option for further orders that you place.
If you return some of the items that you've bought, then we'll take that into account when calculating your PAY IN 3 payment. If this happens after your statement has been produced and before the payment due date, you will need to contact us for an up-to-date amount to pay.
Pay in 3 explained
Pay No Interest | 3 Payments | 3 Months
Also, you can use PAY IN 3 as many times as you like. This means you don't need to complete all 3 payments before you use it again. The only limit is your personal credit limit.
-
-
PAY IN FULL

-
If you don't want to spread your payments you can still try before you buy and add your items to your credit account. When you've decided which items you want to keep you can pay your balance in full at no extra cost when you receive your statement.
-
-
PAY MONTHLY

-
You can pay any amount that you choose each month as long as you pay at least the minimum payment detailed on your statement.
Your minimum payment will either be 5% or 7% of your balance depending on the interest rate we offer. If your balance is less than £100 your minimum payment will be at least £5 or £7.
Please remember that, if you only make your minimum payment each month, it will take longer and cost more to pay off your balance because of the interest that will be charged. You can repay your balance at any time in full or in part so you can always choose to pay more if you can afford it.

FAQs
-
HOW DO WE CALCULATE AND CHARGE INTEREST?

-
If you pay less than the PAY IN 3 payment shown on your statement or don't clear your balance, you will be charged interest.
We calculate and charge interest on the opening balance on the statement date each month (minus any returns and other adjustments from items bought in previous statement periods) and interest is charged to accounts on the statement date.
APR
Annual Percentage Rate (APR) refers to the total cost of borrowing for a year and is a standard calculation used by all lenders to make it easier to compare credit products. The calculation includes fees that may be charged and can be different from the actual interest rate (see the summary box below). When a "representative APR" is shown, it means that at least 51% of customers receive a rate that is the same as, or lower than, the representative APR.
Your credit limit and APR/interest rate may vary subject to your individual circumstances.
The information contained in this table summarises the APRs and interest rates applicable to the LR Pay Accounts we offer:
APR (Rates as shown depending on individual circumstances)
By using our free eligibility check before you apply, you can find out whether we're able to offer you an LR Pay Account and the APR.
CREDIT ACCOUNT EXAMPLE: CASH PRICE AND AMOUNT OF CREDIT £1200. REPRESENTATIVE 21.9% APR VARIABLE.
INTEREST RATE 20% VARIABLE.

HOW DO I MAKE A PAYMENT?

-
Your monthly statement will tell you your total outstanding balance, the minimum payment that you must make and a PAY IN 3 payment option. You can pay any amount between the minimum payment and the full outstanding balance.
Your payment will be due 21 days from the date your statement was produced. Please ensure that your payment reaches us on or before the date shown.
For full details of ways to pay, please refer to the reverse of your statement or click here.
-
-
WHAT IF I DON'T
PAY ON TIME?
-
It's important to make sure that you pay by the date shown on your statement. If you don't, then we may apply a late payment fee of £12 to your account.
Details of missed or late payments will be recorded at Credit Reference Agencies which may make it more difficult for you to obtain credit in the future.
