      Worked well until it broke

      Worked well until it broke when one of the clips inside the buttons to remove the plates snapped after just over three years of usage.

      We love the deep pockets on this model, well worth it. A couple of things that we would like to change though, the red and green lights come on together when the machine is switched on. When it's ready, the green light goes off and the red light stays on which is the opposite of what I would expect! Also, the machine is about an inch or so too narrow to fit 2 paninis in together so we have to cook each one separately or cut the bread down to fit. Apart from that, they taste great.

      I did a fair amount of research before replacing my ancient toastie maker and I'm so pleased I plumped for the Tower, which also got a really high score in Which?. I've been really impressed with the results so far - virtually no leakage of cheese, crispy bread. I've just made my first ever waffles, a real weekend breakfast treat. Looking forward to trying the pannini plates next :) Really easy to keep clean too.
