      Quite a heavy casserole but nice and deep and very easy to clean. My wife loves it for making family meals.

      I’m fundamentally lazy so I really wanted cookware that’s easier to clean but non-toxic for my family. After lots and lots of research ceramic cast iron seemed the one.

      Now back to the lazy bit, the rims of these pots aren’t seasoned so need oil rubbing on them and baked on high so you don’t get rust everywhere. Except I did that and lots of oily streaks were then all over my pot and new pans. It’s taken a few days of non-continuous effort but the streaks are being scrubbed off with a non-scratch sponge and once they are done everything will be grand but a total faff and not the best for lazy (extremely tired mothers) but you cannot have it all.

      Still, I LOVE that you don’t need a high heat to cook anything and feels really intentional when you do cook in these pots, just maybe don’t go for the cream ones although they look gorgeous. The quality for the price is really great and they arrived quickly and safely although a mega heavy package for our poor Evri delivery lady!
