Trust us, if anyone understands the desire to dress up for every occasion possible at the moment, it’s us. We absolutely can’t blame you for planning your outfits a few weeks in advance. We’re doing it too. Why break a habit of a lifetime anyway, right?
Any trip outside of the house is worth a little effort in our eyes, so if the most action you’re seeing is taking your pooch for a turn around the park, don’t let that hold you back sartorially. Whether you plump for casual comfort or reuse one of the festival-ready looks you had planned for Glasto, there’s no reason to look anything less than 100 on your constitutional.

Chilly Casual
Let’s face it, British summertime does not automatically equal sunshine and balmy temps, so it’s best to be equipped for the inevitable. A down coat is a brilliant, light-weight addition to your outwear arsenal: super warm to wear and no hassle to carry. This
version comes in five colours. Layer it over a simple black roll neck and hardwearing, stretchy leggings for a simple, chic silhouette. Perfect with flat, black boots or trainers.
Summer Days
When the sun does come out, it’s time to transport yourself to warm, summer fields and pints of cider by cracking out the festival wear and glamming it up.
Layer some Dusky Pink Linen Shorts with their flattering, slouchy paper bag waist over a simple, well-fitting Anne Weyburn Vest. Pair with Birkenstock Blancas and a set of round sunnies for style and comfort combined.
City Chic
For pacing city streets with man’s best friend, there’s nothing more perfect than a trench. If it works for the likes of Naomi Watts and Emma Stone then hey, it’s good enough for us. This Suede version offers the classic shape with added texture and warmth, and we’re totally here for it. Layer it over a simple white tee, Ankle Grazer Levi’s and Nike Air Max 95 Trainers. Throw on a Bum Bag cross-body to tuck away your essentials.
Dressed to Impress
If you’re more the Emily Ratajkowski type and like to look nothing short of glossy-mag perfection every time you leave the house, then try something a little more formal on for size. Everybody knows that a classic black blazer is a wardrobe staple that’ll pay you back in dividends – ideal for work, play and, in Emily’s book, dog walking. Wear it over a chic, Parisian-style fine knit (this one has a ruffle neck… swoon!) and a belted pair of wide-legged trousers. Finish the look with flat boots or classic Chucks.
