      Great item, but it has it's faults

      I love this griddle and the fact that I can swap to my waffle plates ( bought separately) but it has some faults that you need to be aware of .

      1. The magnet that holds the lid in position is not strong enough , so when you open the lid it can swing forward with drips of food/fat missing the fat collector and landing on your worktop. This can also be a burn risk as it can hit you hand and I constantly have to push the lid to a vertical position with a wooden spoon.

      2. I purchased the white/cream version and it has already started to turn a brown at the front from the steam.

      3. I also don't find the non stick works very well with vegetables. I've used low fat spray but courgettes stick.
