      The generator is fine and performing well, I am however disappointed with the cable storage my previous generator the storage was wound around the base.

      Best steam generator

      Very happy with this purchase. It’s so much quicker and easier than anything we’ve used before. Hassle free ironing without the need to keep adjusting the heat setting for different fabrics.

      Descaling

      So I’m really disappointed this is now my second one! First one went wrong but had it 3 years! So couldn’t be with out it & bite the bullet & got another had this one around maybe 2 years & it’s now having problems with not cleaning out try everything to do it like I’ve read on here nothing! Don’t think I’ll buy another

      When it works it works but...

      You can't clean it, the machine has to decide it wants to be cleaned which it frequently won't do even if needed, even if the indicator is on.

      Needs a facility where you can press a button to force it to clean, as it is I spend to much time with low pressure or with water spitting all over my clothes.

      Truly wish I'd bought almost anything else.

      Thank you for your feedback, and we apologise for the inconvenience. The machine is designed to request a descale after approximately 5L of water have passed through, which helps to maintain optimal performance. 

       

      However, if you experience issues between these automatic requests, you can perform a manual descale at any time to ensure it continues running smoothly.

       

      To address this, could I kindly suggest the following;

       

      Fill the water tank with demineralised or deionised water. Hold the iron over a bowl or sink and turn on the power. Set the temperature to the highest setting. Press the steam button until all the water has passed through. You may need to repeat this process multiple times to restore it back to working order.  

      We recommend the use a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% deionised, distilled or demineralised water water to prevent limescale build.

       

      This procedure should effectively flush out the tank and eliminate any deposits that may have accumulated within the product.

      No longevity

      I bought this iron in 2021 and for the most part have been happy, it’s an easy iron to use but as per other reviews, isn’t great on T-shirts or similar. I was extremely disappointed when, after 2 years 11 months, it stopped working. For the price, I expected to get much more use from this and this the quality is poor
