      Great lamp base

      I have only taken a star off because the delivery was quite poor. It wasn't delivered within the stated 7 - 10 days. When I contacted La Redoute, email responses were quoted as 5 days and the chatbot was unavailable. Consequently I received a response within 2 days and my goods were then miraculously despatched. Having said that, the lamp base was lovely and unusual, it was also a good deal cheaper than other sites. Aside the worrying despatch and lack of information all worked out well in the end.

      Bigger than expected but beautiul

      Large statement lamp very stylish and makes quite an impact bringing lots of complimentary comments

      Not worth the money

      The actual top of the body of the lamp is wonky and some of the gold edging looks like it's been done by someone with a bad tremor. Worth about £25 in my opinion as the standard of manufacture is just not high enough. Not sure if I will keep or send back
