Aidas Jute & Leather Rug, natural/grey, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

Pleasantly surprised, much nicer than expected, the leather weave is more suede and the color more a blue/grey. Fabulous and excellent value.

We bought this rug several months ago, and while the reviews are correct that it's more blue than gray, this suited us fine as our room is blue. Initially it was perfect as we have a young family and we needed a hard wearing rug. Stains clean up nicely from it and it looked beautiful.... at first. The main problem with this rug is that the leather woven in is not in a single strand per row -- it's lots of little strands. And it's woven in so loosely that there's nothing to stop it from coming out of the weave. So within a month or so it was coming up in tufts, giving the rub a shabby, almost pilled look very quickly -- with little bits of leather sticking up everywhere. It's a cheap enough rug and the effect is not so terrible for us to chuck it right away. We'll keep it through the toddler years. But if it looks like this in 3 months, in two years time I can imagine it will be in quite a state and we'll probably be investing then in a better, high quality rug.

Horrendous rug. Nothing like pictures. It was like blue cardboard running through dirty string and very very messy. I cannot stress enough do not buy this rug. Delivery took ages. No one gets back to you from customer service. If I could give -100 stars I would. Never again will I purchase anything from La Redoute. Never.

This rug is nothing like the images online!

I bought this rug to replace a similar one . It's a bit on the grey side of the natural colour I wanted but is very smart with a great texture. Am very happy with the rug overall.

This has blue tones and looks like it’s got grey tones in the picture!!

There’s a light blue tint effect which looks great, it shows more in real life than in pictures, it’s a little bit lumpy but overall satisfied with the product

If you are after a jute rug that’s made with natural colour, this may not be the one for you. The leather looks blue and the way it was woven in looked quite messy. The smell of leather was quite overwhelming too. I had to return it.
