    Nyesi Burnt Mahogany Dish, black, AM.PM

    Burnt wood is a technique that magnifies the wood and gives it a textured print, in which the grain shows through. A method that adds a touch of soul to this dish with its soft, irregular lines.
    First dried to stabilise it and prevent cracking, the wood is then burnt in a kiln, touched up with black paint and covered with a top coat to seal it.
