El Cap Padded Jacket with Detachable Hood - POLO RALPH LAUREN

It a present for Christmas for my son. A bit too early to purchase it . However, I hope he will be pleased. He had a different brand, similar Down jacket. It was half of price I paid for this one and quality ( puffiness) twice better. Price-quality not as expected at all.

The fit of the jacket is great and it is plenty warm. In that sense it is exactly what I was looking for, which is why I bought it! However, for the price, I could not recommend it given that the outer lining is ripping in multiple places, especially on the sleeves, after just a couple months of relatively light use. This is causing it to be not only somewhat unsightly, but also to shed down from inside the jacket. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere if you want a jacket to last for any time longer than one winter season.

I’ve had this jacket for a few months now and although is it a very nice jacket and keeps me very warm and many features on it that make me feel like I’m wearing a cheap jacket one example of this is the lack of feathers in the jacket I feel as if there’s some places on the jacket where it is filled with just air instead of feathers another really cheap feature is the strap on the wrist section is it very poorly designed and always come off and lastly there’s always feather coming out my jacket or poking out my jacket

My son loves this coat! We have been waiting for it to arrive back in stock and we are so happy that it has. It looks smart and the quality is great. It does feel a little on the light side but my son said it is very warm.

Size wise it fits perfectly as per the measurements on the website.

Its just not a very good quality coat.

Its lighter than you would think and not a great shape.

There aren’t and cuffs to speak of and the ends of the sleeves aren’t finished well, you’ll find that the stitching scratches you.

For the cost there are a lot better coats available.

Not what I would expect having bought RL for many years.

Perfect winter jacket. Not too heavy. Very warm. Nice colour.
