    I bought the set with microwave, kettle and toaster. The photos show the kettle and toaster with a pretty beige shimmer however it is just a beige matte finish. The items are plastic and look cheap. Very disappointing.

    So far, so good! Performs well, boils water exactly as you’d expect. Easy to clean also, which is an important factor (to me, anyway). Only things that I would love to have been improved is cord length, and noise reduction. I don’t think I’ve ever owned such a loud kettle.

    I find it difficult to judge how fill the kettle is when filling. Gauge is behind handle. I think for the guage to be clear of the handle would suit better. I have been caught out with water spitting out when coming to the boil. My routine is for one kettle load is enough for a cup of tea and to fill hot water bottle. Being unable to hold the kettle at a more suitable height on filling due to weak arthritic hands doesn't help with seeing the guage.
