Set of 2 Velvet Touch Dining Chairs with Wooden Effect Legs, black, SO'HOME

Brought this item a few weeks ago and overall really disappointed with the quality of the product especially the setup. Firstly the smelt like what can only describe as cat urine upon opening the box. Then the setup procedure was so poor, ranging from badly cut out holes for the bolts to fit in. Bolts that were to short to be used with the washers provided and upon fitting all the legs correctly the chairs are wobbly and unable to rectify with additional felt fitting to them. For the price paid these have been badly made and zero quality control on shipping them to me.

Firstly the box smelt like cat urine upon opening it literally stunk out my whole room. Then the quality of the product is poor. Some of the drill holes for the legs were either mislagned or the holes are too deep to fix in the bolts with the washes provided. Then the leg rubber ends were either mislagned or didn't fully screw in. To top it off when all legs are fitted the seat is wobbly on a flat floor. The whole experience of this items is hugely disappointing

Comfortable excellent quality amazing price

We were looking for something like this for a long time and finally settled on these, and really pleased we did. They seemed to be cheaper than other high street and online stores so I was a little nervous, particularly as I'd never spent this much on a chair before! But they are fab, REALLY comfortable, nicely padded and the perfect height. They look classy and a great balance of modern with a retro vibe. Only niggles, a few of them had a couple of little marks on the fabric on the seat, as velvet does sometimes, it looked like it was just compression from being packed up in the box in pairs, but this has softened over a week and I haven't noticed it at all now they are at the table. I also hadn't realised there was a sort of criss-cross/ quilt effect on the back as it wasn't clear in the picture, but they still look great!
