this is a stunning glass lamp ideal for a sideboard or console.

it is well made and worth the expense.

I bought this a few weeks ago and am delighted with the actual style of this product. It's quite unique and has a vintage steam-punk feel to it. However, it will work in a number of settings and styles, because of its colour, size and shape, which make it a really stylish choice. I've put it in my bedroom but it would work just as well to create mood in other rooms of the home.

The glass shade is hand-blown and robust. The glass has been finished with, I think, an acid rub, to give it a semi-opaque quality. Absolutely great colour too, dark green to translucent black. The shade sits into the metal base and you fix it in place by using three brass screws (gentle tightening only needed).

The flex is material covered, adding to that vintage vibe, and the plug is a continental plug, adaptors available at reputable stockists, from a few pounds for one.

I used it with a 40w ES mini globe, but found this a bit too bright for creating mood - ok for reading though. I am therefore, going to use a vintage style, 25w ES candle bulb to give it more of the vintage/vibe I'm using this product to style my room with.

The packaging was incredibly robust, delivery comes straight from the supplier, so there is a little bit of a wait.

Loved it so much - I've bought another. Wish I could add a picture, it really is beautiful.
