So disappointed in this. Said thread number by sq metre which I didn't understand so really wanted high thread count. Also assumed pillow cases came with it but had to go back and buy them separately. Very disappointed.

I bought it few weeks ago and I love it!

I was disappointed on receipt to find the colours were not as clean and bright as portrayed, having a darker muddier appearance which darkened the room. They were also thinner than previous sets bought from redoute, so I returned.

I love the colours and the design of this duvet cover. I love the feel of the lovely cotton on the patterned side. However, the other (purple) side is a totally different matter. The cotton is rough, wide-weave and stiff and the colour is somewhat patchy. It's a real shame because this is the side that comes into contact with your body and it feels cheap and nasty. Moreover, it is as if it's been printed purple instead of dyed purple and the inner is paler and patchier.

I love La Redoute bedlinen, this duvet cover did not disappoint. The fabric is a lovely print echoing a William Morris design, and looks slot more expensive than it was. I love the contrast with the dark plumb on the reverse. Cosy and stylish for the winter.

It looked pretty on the website but is actually quite a bit darker in reality. The purple underside is so dark that it's actually turning my white bottom sheet a pale mauve colour. There is too much excess material with the funny flap at the bottom, causing the duvet to move inside the cover; Grandma's old hatpin through the duvet and the cover seems to have cured the problem where safety pins either popped out or tore the fabric. After 4 washes, the cotton is starting to soften up.... I'd be very unlikely to order bedding from them again.

As always, the quality of this bedding is great and washes well. Very pleased.
