    getting just the right colour

    My room is decorated in a way to reflect the palace at Knossos. Why is not germane. I simply love the colours and green was the only stand out and complementary colour. My room is now just perfect.

    poor manufacture

    I bought 6 cotton voile curtains, and while the service I received was very good (one had to be completely replaced because it was too short ...... not the size stated), the actual product was poorly made. I expected the curtains to be very fine, which they were. This was no problem, but I had to take them up a few centimetres to fit the windows, and because of the side seam stitching tension, they rose at the sides, making them virtually impossible to take up easily. I will probably have to undo the side seam on one in particular because it looks rucked and I am not satisfied with the way it hangs.
