For anyone who lives in a city, you'll know how hectic, busy and stressful life can be. I know I can get swept along with the pressures and stresses of adult life but, as I've gotten older; I've made sure I take time out to just 'be', whether that's chilling in my garden or one of London's beautiful parks, catching up with friends or exploring the city on my own. Time to re-charge, re-set and relax! When was the last time you did something for yourself? More importantly, when was the last time you did something for yourself and felt no guilt? If you're a busy Mum or Dad or carer for someone, for example, you might find it hard to take time out for yourself.
Some Me Time
If you can - I highly recommend booking in some 'me time' asap! Everyone deserves to check in with themselves, top up their physical and mental strength and look after their well being. My most favourite things to do come summer are sprawling out on a picnic blanket with friends, exploring all the rooftop bars in London, wandering down the many canal paths and booking myself in for a solo spa pamper session.
