REMINGTON

Remington is a brand of electronic bathroom accessories. It has belonged to the Spectrum Brands group, formerly Rayovac, since 1930. Remington produced its first electric dry shavers in 1937 for professionals and the general public. The brand introduced bag shaving to millions of people at the 1939 World's Fair in New York. A year later, Remington introduced its first double-headed shaver, followed in 1941 by the multi-headed shaver. The brand continued to develop shavers and other accessories to keep ahead of the times. The Lektronic, the first battery-operated cordless shaver, was launched in 1960. Today, Remington manufactures hair clippers, electric shavers of all types, straightening irons, hair dryers and various accessories for these appliances.
